The qualified individual for this role will become part of our family-friendly culture and lead up to 6-9 residential remodeling projects of various sizes at a time. Reporting to this position will be a project field supervisor, four carpenters, and subcontractors as needed. The position reports to the current President and will act as the right-hand professional by continuing to provide outstanding service to our clients, and effectively lead remodeling projects with integrity, timeliness, and quality to meet client expectations.

Remodeling Production Manager – Job Responsibilities

  • Manage 6 to 9 design-build remodeling projects at a time.
  • Create a successful client experience through great communication, efficient project management, and timely follow-through.
  • Lead all aspects of the project from the signed contract/sale to completion.
  • Hire, manage, and oversee carpenters and other production staff.
  • Act as the primary contact for the client during the production phase.
  • Work within the prepared and agreed-upon construction budget.
  • Order materials and specialty products as needed.
  • Troubleshoot as necessary (ex. supply-chain issues).

Remodeling Production Manager – Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of effective leadership skills and managing others; must be able to effectively delegate work.
  • Foster and support the company culture with other employees and clients alike.
  • 7+ years of experience working in a construction project management/interior design role.
  • BA/BS in interior design, engineering, art & design, construction management, or other complementary education.
  • Must be able to understand detailed contracts and prioritize a project; share cost and expenses with the client as appropriate. Seek a win-win for the company and client.
  • Ability to manage construction project budgets using Excel or another software system.
  • Detailed knowledge of the residential construction process.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of differing sizes simultaneously.
  • Organized in handling multiple schedules with high proficiency. General knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft suite of computer programs.
  • Keen sense of design and ideas.
